The event takes place on July 7, or 07/07/07, also heralded as the world's luckiest day. Refreshments and cocktails will be available Saturday night for attendees interested in networking with like-minded entrepreneurs and internet marketers.
Guests are invited to join in discussion of the latest internet marketing strategies and techniques. Baker will also lead discussion analyzing new theories and case studies from David Meerman Scott's latest book "The New Rules of Marketing and PR."
"Internet marketing isn't about luck," said Baker, a 10+ year Internet marketing veteran. "It is about a good strategy, as well as skill, research, communications, psychology, and timing."
Baker says that he loves Las Vegas as a place for both formal conferences and informal get-togethers like this event. Some have asked, "Why Las Vegas" and "Why 07/07/07?"
Baker responds with, "Las Vegas is a very inspirational city, as it is a 24 hour a day, 365 day a year reminder that regardless of the economy, recessions, housing rates, or whatever excuses your sales team may have for lack of performance, Las Vegas proves that if you have a product or service that people want bad enough, they will find a way to pay for it, regardless of their circumstances," said Baker. "Having this meeting in this city and at a time when people are all caught up in the 07/07/07 hysteria sets the background for the perfect case study for our discussion."
Baker continues, "I've heard salespeople and Internet marketers alike give excuses for bad performances. Some say that it's raining; other says that it's the Friday before a holiday. There is always someone to justify bad sales. Some attribute the good sales of their competition to just dumb luck. But it has been my experience that with the proper incentives, as well as a practical presentation of benefits, that everybody else's so-called slow days are some of our best performing sales records of all time.
"It's all about perception," said Baker, "Changing your perception and discussing and discovering new avenues to reach your customers is what it's all about, and it's why I'm hosting this small informal event open to anybody serious enough to join us in Las Vegas on 07/07/07."
Door prizes start at 7pm, including $1,000 worth of internet marketing services and copies of Scott's book. "Whether you have hit the winning combination for your online marketing strategy or not, this will be your lucky night," said Tony.
This event is free, with limited space available. Interested guest are requested email RSVP through Xeal's contact page to receive specific details. Entrepreneurs, Internet marketers, and Web-savvy business owners are all welcome to attend.
Tony Baker will also be available in Las Vegas throughout the weekend to meet with individuals and groups for private Internet marketing consultation by request.
